KIDSAFRIK SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships per age group are available for most 2023-24 My Mobile Soccer Academy activities.

KidsAfrik offers scholarships for all of its events. We want to reach as many kids as possible to benefit from the beautiful game of soccer. Not only is it the greatest game ever, but we feel that learning a sport offers many benefits to kids, such as being part of a team, learning how to get along with others, how to be a graceful winner, and also being able to deal with the disappointment of losing. Playing a sport gives kids a focus and may even keep them on the path to becoming healthy adults.

Sometimes the cost of investing in a sport is the obstacle for families’ participation and we want as many to benefit as possible so we are providing scholarships for kids based on school performance and family income.  We are providing two scholarships for each age group for every winter session.

Winter 2024/25 activities schedule:

  • Session 1: Starting Nov 9 to Dec. 21 (6-week session – No Class Nov 30th)

  • Session 2: Starting Jan. 4 to Feb. 8 (6-week session )

  • Session 3: Mar 1- April 5 (6-week session)

Summer Advanced Skills Training Camp

  • June 30th-July 3rd (Hadley Elementary School, Rt 47).
  • July 14th-18th (Hadley Elementary School, Rt 47).

To apply for a scholarship:  r

1) E-mail a letter of interest (one paragraph): This is mandatory!
    • For indoor training/clinics, no later than two weeks before the start of the session.
    • For camps, no later than 30 days prior to the camp date.

2) Fill out the online application: This is mandatory!

  • For all our summer camps, applications and email requests must be submitted 30 days before the 1st day of camp.

  • Our summer scholarship selections will be made through a lottery system, and the results will be emailed to all applicants 25 days before the 1st scheduled camp.

  • Please fill out a separate registration for each child and each week that you are interested in.

  • If your child gets selected, we will send you a coupon to register using Active Network, and you can make your payment then. You’ll be responsible for 50% of the camp fee if the application is approved.
